As CEO, Elsa Lee applies her leadership experience and knowledge to successfully manage a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Advantage SCI is entrusted at the highest levels of the US Government to provide critical national security and defense support services. This includes emerging requirements, tactical missions, direct combat support, and strategic policy-level requirements. Under Elsa’s leadership, Advantage SCI employees have contributed to peacekeeping operations and nation rebuilding in post-war environments since 2008. Securing Tomorrow Today® is what the company does best through intelligence services that protect and sustain our nation. Advantage SCI is proud to provide mission support services to US Navy, US Army, US Air Force, CENTCOM, DIA, DTRA, JCS, Secretary of Defense, Department of State, Department of Treasury, FEMA, US Embassies in hostile regions, and Department of Homeland Security. Our values, integrity, commitment, character, and teamwork permeate throughout the company. Elsa provides the entire breadth of corporate knowledge and assets to ensure our clients obtain the highest quality services and all the resources needed across the entire corporation. She maximizes the value of Advantage SCI through timely, quality customer service-centric deliverables, a healthy market share, and brand trust. Elsa is a retired Army CI Agent, adjunct professor, and published author. She earned her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Maryland, and she speaks German and Spanish.


Pete Lee

Pete Lee
President

Pete Lee serves as President. He has served in multiple roles since the company was established, first as a consultant, subject matter expert, director and now President overseeing all company operations. He implements strategic plans ensuring we meet compliance and customer requirements, while constantly measuring for overall success of Advantage SCI. Pete is a retired Special Forces Sergeant Major with over 40 years of Government Contracting, Management Consulting, Special Operations Forces, Counterterrorism Operations and Training. During his 24 year Army career, Pete spent six years on U.S. national counterterrorism quick-reaction force stationed abroad and later was selected to work in a highly classified intelligence organization in Washington DC. He has been an advisor to U.S. and International military, law enforcement, and government leaders on counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, counter drug, and national security and supported U.S. Embassies, U.S. Department of State, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Drug Enforcement Agency and foreign militaries, U.S. Counterterrorism Response Teams, as well as training national level counter-terrorism response teams. Before joining Advantage SCI, Pete served in management positions with Deloitte and Touche, Lockheed Martin, and PBS&J. Pete is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Chapman University with a Bachelor Degree, Organizational Leadership. Pete’s business experience has directly contributed to Advantage SCI’s business model which is largely derived from Fortune 500 company best practices.

Kelley C. Van De Ven

Controller/CFO

Kelley C. Van De Ven serves as Advantage SCI’s Controller/CFO, she oversees all finance and accounting functions and assists in executing the company’s financial strategy. Kelley comes with over 25 years of finance and accounting expertise in government/defense contracting, international shipping and logistics, and manufacturing. She is not only a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), but she has also completed the Treasury Management Program at the University of North Carolina, and has earned a certification in Foundations of Project Management. An impressive communicator, Kelley interacts with internal and external stakeholders with genuine respect and attentiveness – whether at the CEO level or among junior team members. Her ability to connect with people coupled with strong leadership qualities, and a passion for process efficiency make her a great fit for our team and our “team approach culture.” Kelley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
