SeaPort-e is the US Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in more than 20 functional areas, including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded this IDIQ (Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity) contract to multiple contract holders for a variety of support services. Advantage SCI is the Prime contractor for Zone 2, the National Capital Region/Washington, D.C. area, and Zone 6, the US Southwest.

Following the completion of a successful five-year contract in March 2011, we were awarded a new five-year contract providing counterintelligence and security specialist support for a major government department in Northern California and agency's field offices in New Mexico.

SECURITY TRAINING Advantage SCI offers courses in Travel Security, Insider Threat Capabilities, and Risk Mitigation Strategies. Specialists in cyber intelligence, program management, terrorism and force protection, and SCIF Facility support share their years of experience and expertise spanning several decades.
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT In partnership with a major university, Advantage SCI conducts classes on Homeland Security as it relates to the Private Sector. Classes are facilitated by Advantage SCI CEO Elsa Lee, utilizing her published book as the course material.
RESEARCH ENHANCEMENT A Los Angeles agency requested our expertise to support the nation's first environmental impact study to incorporate homeland security. Research was reviewed. Recommendations were made to the client. Based on our global knowledge/experience with terrorist methodologies and operations, security enhancements, as well as insightful, critical recommendations for preparedness and risk mitigation, were proposed. A Congressional Committee cited the study as a good model for other assessment teams and preparedness strategies.

TERRORISM EXPERTISE Advantage SCI assisted a major private university with its approved DHS mission to improve national security through development/ application of tools assessing risks and consequences of terrorism, gauging economic impact, and evaluating the effectiveness of countermeasures. We provided research, analysis, review, and input of theoretical attacks of potential key sites. Deliverables built deterrent practices/ methodologies to respond to terrorism, predictive first-responder risk models, and training models for enhanced preparedness.
SECURITY AND RISK ASSESSMENT Under a Subcontract with a Big Four professional services firm, we performed a risk assessment and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) audit for a major southern California company. Our consultant conducted assessments of operations, processes, and practices; researched and analyzed data; executed a gap analysis; and provided recommendations, templates, and checklists to improve BCP and DRP to meet regulatory requirements and audits.
