iTravelSafe® Receives Registered Trademark from U.S. Patent Office

The SmartPhone (iPhone, iPad, and Android) travel application designed and developed by Advantage SCI received a Registered Trademark from the US Patent Office in August 2013.

iTravelSafe® automatically receives travel alerts from the United States Department of State, which advise on whether a traveler should include specific countries on their trip(s). The alerts are immediately uploaded and “pushed” by the State Department when crises arise in foreign countries and iTravelSafe®, available for $.99 from iTunes and Google Play Store, receives the information instantaneously.

In addition, the iTravelSafe® App provides the user with information on more than 200 countries around the globe, with maps, hotels, transportation information, climate info, and many useful tips. Ideal for the business traveler, the tourist, the student studying abroad, the App contains tips on what to do in an emergency situation in each country, the location of the US Embassy, local traditions, road rules for each country, and the security issues about which to be concerned, especially in countries that are prone to threat alerts.

The iTravelSafe® App is available online and offline once purchased and uploaded to the mobile device. Tips for students traveling abroad and for their parents to become savvy about the countries to which the student will travel to study, live, or just visit on side trips are all contained in the App.

The Registered Trademark for iTravelSafe® is the first trademark issued to Advantage SCI.
