Elsa Lee Continues to Teach UCLA Homeland Security Course

Elsa Lee has been requested to continue as an adjunct professor in the UCLA Extension Certification Program in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The certificate program is intended for government agency employees; military personnel transitioning into civilian careers; private business managers in human resources; facilities management; project management; and communications. The curriculum is designed for college students, recent college graduates, and professionals in the fields of homeland security and emergency management to expand their knowledge and to prepare individuals for careers in the fields of homeland security and emergency management. Elsa completed teaching last semester’s course titled Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security: An Overview. Her course received some of the highest ratings from participants at UCLA.

Starting October 2nd, Elsa will teach the Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security: An Overview (Hybrid) course. This is an eight-week course, combining in-class and online sessions. Mrs. Lee’s book, Homeland Security and Private Sector Business: Corporation’s Role in Critical Infrastructure Protection, will again serve as a textbook for the courses.
